The Club is celebrating the award of £ 20,000 from the Sport England Inpsired Facilities scheme for the refurbishment of the clubhouse.
This will allow a major refurbishment of the clubhousse and hopefully improvements to toilet facilities in the main clubhouse as well.
This is in addition to the grant of £ 1,000 awarded late last year by the local Galbraith Trust for essential repairs to the building.
Club fund raiser Susan Lucas said:
"We are absolutely delighted with this award which will allow us to significantly improve our clubhouse facilities.
We are also still committed to seeking funds to upgrade our courts and will continue to seek funding for this.
We are very grateful to Sport England for this award which is part of their Places People Play legacy programme."
