Great junior team performances
Great junior team performances
The U17 Fylde League team squad are in a strong position to take the Division 2 title after an excellent start to the season. Five wins out of five puts them top of the table with a one point lead over Hambleton having played one game less.

Captain Tom Bowe has been ably supported by Elliot Gardner, Dan Main, Reuben Orr, Ronan McGrath, Adam Hill and Harry Waddington. If the lads can clinch the title over the next five matches, they will be promoted to Division 1 and make Lancaster eligible for two teams in the U17 section next year.

Meanwhile a young U14 squad have come up against strong opponents each week. They managed their first win of the season at home to Wrea Green on June 6th, but have narrowly lost their other matches to be 5th of 7 teams. Captain Joel McAllister has had some good wins as has Niall Bowman. The boys have six games to go, and will be looking to pick up a few more wins before the end of the season.

Many of the juniors were present and helped at the GBTW Open Day on June 14th, and showed how much they feel part of our Club.

Many thanks also to team organisers Alan Main, Pat Clelland and Annabel Orr.
