Best ever Open Day
Best ever Open Day
Over 50 potential junior and adult members attended a very successful and busy Open Day at the Club on Saturday April 16 . It was chilly but dry when all the players arrived, from 4 year olds holding a racquet for the first time to experienced team members, and all had a chance to try out the Club’s new courts.

Club coach Eden Parkinson was ably assisted by a number ofthe Club’s improving junior players in showing the many keen under 8s how toplay, making full use of the Club’s new mini court.

Club Chairman Steve Garland was also very pleased to welcome Lancaster & Fleetwood MP Cat Smith to the Open Day. She had visited the Club last autumn and she was very impressed with the improvements in the bowling green and cricket pitch,as well as the new tennis courts over the last 6 months. As a former player in the Barrow area, she was very pleased to have the chance to play a few rallies too.

The Club continues to welcome new members, and anyone interested can contact Sandra Eccles on tel: 07752619241 or email: to find out about social and team tennis and about junior and adult coaching.
